Driving a bus is just one way to contribute to the team! While drivers and big yellow buses are what you first think of when you think of student transportation, there are many ways you can contribute to the team. For starters, the big yellow bus is not our only vehicle. We operate mini-buses, large passenger vans, and even some mini-vans. Driving one of these vehicles is the fastest way to get you behind the wheel and getting children to school because operating those vehicles often does not require a special license. Of course, if you are up for the challenge and want to gain a valuable credential (for free!) you could apply to become a “big bus” driver and earn your Commercial Drivers License (CDL) at one of in-house training facilities.

A Role for Everyone on Our Team
You need a job that fits into your busy schedule. Life is hectic; between childcare (maybe for your own children or your grandchildren), medical appointments, shopping, errands, you often have a full day. We offer a predictable schedule because we need to ensure the buses arrive at their scheduled stops at their scheduled time, day in and day out.
Serve Your Community
There is perhaps no more important mission we have as a society than educating our children. The people that take our children to and from school are essential front-line workers and are truly heroes. Each school day is precious and as transportation providers we know that a student’s school day starts well before the student arrives in the classroom and ends after the student leaves the school. Our employees have great impact as the first smiling face kids see every morning and the positive send-off when they end the day safe at home. We know that families depend on the school bus (or van) to get their child to school safely, on-time, and ready to learn. Our team takes pride in playing such an important role in a child’s school day.
Krise transportation is a people-first business. Our mission all about ensuring children get to school on-time and ready to learn. Accomplishing that mission requires the best people enabled with the best equipment, the best systems and the best training. For those new to driving large vehicles we offer in-house Commercial Driver License (CDL) training, testing, and certification. To those who come with us with a CDL we offer re-certification so every driver of a Krise bus receives training from the Krise team. We do this because safety is our top priority. Training doesn’t stop when you get your license. Krise Transportation provides you with continuing training both in technical and non-technical skills so you can always be at your best.
